Part 1 of this course is taken Online through OnlineAHA. The skill session (Part 2 and 3) will be completed at our training facility after completing part 1 and scheduling the skills session part 2 and 3.
This course includes the fundamental concepts of providing high-quality cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR), using an automated external defibrillator (AED), and rendering basic first aid as needed for selected medical emergencies (breathing, choking, allergic reactions, stroke, seizure, etc.), injuries (wounds, burns, broken bones, etc.), and environmental emergencies (animal / insect bites, heat / cold, poison, etc.). The course is designed for participants who are not healthcare providers and who would like to gain the basic skills needed that might save a life or prevent further injury.
Upon completion of this course, students receive an American Heart Association Heartsaver First Aid CPR AED Course Completion Card that is valid for two years.
